Cookie policy.
Which essential cookies and related technologies may be present, and how to control them.
No cookie-consent banner is added for trackers that are not installed. A banner and consent controls may be required before any future nonessential tracking starts.
1. What cookies do
Cookies and local browser storage can hold session identifiers, security tokens or preferences. Some services use related technologies for risk detection or authentication. Exact names and duration depend on enabled providers.
2. Essential technical functions
Vercel and security systems may employ cookies or equivalent identifiers for service operation and abuse prevention. If the Clerk-based editorial login is enabled, it may set the necessary authentication and session records. Reading a public article does not currently require a reader account.
3. Analytics and advertising
The reviewed code contains no intentionally installed ad pixel, behavioral advertising tracker or standalone third-party audience analytics SDK. The publisher has not independently confirmed every optional hosting-account analytics setting. If future nonessential tracking is enabled, it must be disclosed and any jurisdictionally required consent implemented before use.
4. External websites
RecoupRev links to independent journalists, AI vendors, financial filings, regulators and other resources. After following an external link, that site may use its own tracking technologies and cookie rules.
5. Controlling cookies
You can inspect, block and delete cookies using your browser settings. Restricting essential authentication cookies may stop an editor from signing in, though public articles should generally remain available.
6. Changes and further information
As services evolve, the publisher should inspect the production site for cookie names, vendors, durations and consent requirements. This notice is not an exhaustive live cookie inventory. Read the Privacy Policy and Data Policy for server-side information handling.
