Privacy policy.
What information RecoupRev and its service providers may handle when readers browse the website or authorized editors sign in.
This is a public draft grounded in reviewed site code, not proof of complete legal compliance. The publisher must verify provider settings, confirm email deliverability and supply its legal identity and business address.
1. Who operates the service?
RecoupRev is the digital publication presented at recouprev.com. A contact email, aromal@recouprev.com, has been provided by the publisher. The site's verified legal operator and business address have not yet been provided for this notice; contact information is available on the Contact page. RecoupRev is not presented as an investment advisory service.
2. Information that may be processed
When visitors request pages, hosting providers may process IP addresses, page URLs, timestamps, user-agent details, diagnostic information and security signals. The publicly accessible newsroom does not currently require a reader account or collect a reader investment portfolio or card details.
Where editorial login is enabled, an authentication provider may handle editor identifiers, sign-in sessions and credentials. The Convex application stores publication-related records such as articles, sources, editorial identifiers, scheduled publishing and ingestion-run logs. If correspondence is received through a working publisher email address, the address and message may be retained to respond to the request.
3. Why and on what basis?
Technical records support page delivery, system security, troubleshooting and prevention of abuse. Editorial account records support access control and operational traceability. The legal basis depends on the processing activity and jurisdiction and may include legitimate interests, contract, compliance with applicable duties or consent where required.
4. Service providers and outside sources
The reviewed code uses Vercel for hosting, Convex for content storage and scheduled jobs, and optional Clerk for editor authentication. Each provider may have separate data-processing terms, retention policies and cross-border handling. Third-party news and research sites reached through links control their own privacy practices. We have not independently audited every provider-account setting.
5. Cookies, analytics and marketing
Security and editor-session cookies may be necessary for service delivery. The reviewed code does not intentionally install an advertising pixel or standalone third-party audience analytics SDK. This statement does not prove every optional hosting-account feature is disabled or describe future integrations. Review our Cookie Policy for details.
6. Retention and safety
Hosting logs, editor records and published content may have different retention periods; actual schedules depend on configured services and applicable obligations. We do not promise a deletion timeframe that has not been verified. Managed service controls and limited editorial permissions help protect information, but online security cannot be guaranteed.
7. Your rights
Depending on local law, you may be able to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or information about processing, or object and complain to a competent authority. Rights are subject to lawful exceptions. Contact the publisher at aromal@recouprev.com for privacy requests. Do not send sensitive identity documents until a secure verification method is agreed.
8. Children, updates and linked services
The newsroom is not directed specifically at children and does not intentionally maintain public child profiles. We may update this notice as our technology or obligations change; the review date above identifies this version. External destinations operate under their own policies.
