October Visa Bulletin Keeps EB-2 India Final Action at November 2013
The State Department's new fiscal-year bulletin shows continued long waits for many India-born employment-based green-card applicants.
The official October 2026 Visa Bulletin lists November 1, 2013 as the EB-2 India final action date. The dates-for-filing chart lists January 15, 2015 for the same preference category, according to the State Department.
The final action chart and filing chart serve different purposes. Even when a filing date is later, an individual must confirm whether USCIS permits use of that chart for adjustment applications in the relevant month. The priority date and country of chargeability also matter.
These published dates do not estimate how many years a particular case will take to complete. Applicants should compare their own approval notices and category with official government notices and seek professional advice for consequential decisions.
Immigration policies and visa availability can change. Consult current government instructions and a qualified immigration attorney for personal decisions; this is general reporting, not legal advice.
