Tokenized Stocks Explained: Do Blockchain Holders Get Shareholder Rights?
As tokenized US equities expand, buyers need to distinguish direct share ownership from synthetic price exposure.
The Block reported October 8 that Securitize launched tokens linked to US stocks including Apple and Nvidia with a structure described as backed one-to-one by shares. Separately, trading platforms have offered other tokenized instruments with different legal features.

Investors should read the legal documents, identify the regulated custodian and understand which jurisdictions permit access. Around-the-clock blockchain settlement can improve convenience but does not erase the underlying company's earnings risk or counterparty exposure.
